Horse Quenchers Apple Dehydration Prevention (Peppermint)

I've heard rave reviews on this product and tried it on my herd. I was pretty disappointed.DO NOT give this to your metabolic or PSSM/EPSM horses. You can or will risk triggering a flare up.This is literally just sweet feed dust with corn.A better alternative would be getting an easily digestible, low NSC feed (Senior from Triple Crown for example) and using that grain in place.You're making a "tea" out of the grain essentially. If you wanted to save your money and don't care about NSC, just soak a pound of sweet feed or so in a tub full of water. It's the same thing and cheaper in the long run.Yes, this will encourage horses to drink. Yes it works. No, it's not healthy for horses with underlying issues. Yes, it's gimmicky. Sweet feed in a tiny bag.

Would like a low sugar variety but I guess that's part of the appeal. My horse hates plain water. I put half a cup in 5 gallons of water, let it sit for 15 mins then put it in his stall, he drank it all

What the title says. This is just the crumbs you find at the bottom of your feed bin marketed as a quencher. Felt like I was had when I opened the bag. Kudos to the company though, this fool parted with her money.

One of our mares has been having some kidney/mare issues and at every Vet visit they told us she was a bit dehydrated… desperately trying everything we could to get her to drink more water wasn’t working, she wouldn’t eat grain with any electrolytes in it, and then I came across Horse Quencher and I was hesitant but willing to try anything. It WORKED!!! Both our mares immediately drank the whole bucket both times I’ve given it to them. I bought the apple flavor so I’m going to stick with that, but I’d highly recommend this product I’m super impressed and so relieved to see her drinking water!

Used for years. Most horses love it and drink.
