Where have you been all my life?

Our barn loves this pad!! Very comfortable to ride but more importantly, comfortable for our horses. The pad has good stick at the contact points but is surprisingly breathable. It shaped easily on both our draft breed and our quarter horses. The color is stylish and we get so many compliments on it. Many bareback pads of old were very aggravating.I guess my legs will be getting a major workout...I want to use this pad every day to improve balance. It’s a bit pricey but is very well made-no loose or sloppy stitching, nice attention to detail. Go grab one in these great colors-I’m buying 4 more in the lovely hunter green and the rich tan. Hope this helps with your decision making my friends.

Great Product

I hesitated to purchase at first because there just weren't as many reviews and I liked. I took the plunge and my gut was right. This is a very well made, heavy duty, bare back pad. My Appaloosa is 15.5 h and it fits him very well. I tried it on my 16 month old colt and it even fits him, so if you have a smaller horse/pony it would work on them as well. The stitching is sturdy, the fabric heavy duty, and the padding well designed. The straps and cinch are all very well constructed. I am using it to saddle break my horse at the moment. He is 15 and was never handled. This will get a lot of actual use, when Skip is broken to ride.

Fits on a 16.2 hh and our 13.1 pony!

This pad is AWESOME. Worth every penny. I’ve tried this pad on multiple horses with multiple people of all different sizes. This pad was received well by every single person and horse. No slippage at all even after a sweaty hour of cantering all over the place. The pockets and water bottle holders work perfect for my daughter who regularly rides for hours and loves getting a snack and drink in when she wants them. The pad is also large enough to have an adult and a child sitting comfortably on the pad. I was worried how this would hold up on a thoroughbred with really high withers but my worries were squashed with zero slippage during and after a canter. This pad is a little pricey but I am harboring zero remorse.

Super bareback pad, Quality top notch!

I spent all last summer riding my horse with this bareback pad and it's as good as new and ready for next summer. My horse has taken me and this bareback pad on long dusty trails, up and down steep hills, jumping over logs and swimming in the ocean. I live on a island so this pad is in salt water a lot! With all this use this pad is still in great shape and ready for more. The quality is top notch. The side pocket holds my phone, keys, wallet, snacks and I close the pocket top securely with velcro. There is also a stretch loop in the pocket to hold your water bottle in while you go racing down the trail. When I first got the bareback pad I was just learning to ride bareback and the pad slid around on my horse's back a little. Once I got the knack of riding bareback my pad stayed put.

I have highly recommended this product to several friends.

Highly recommend this pad. Comfortable, well made, attractive and fits a wide variety of horses. There is padding at the pommel, cantle and flaps, helps keep legs and seat in the correct place. There is a water bottle holder and the side pocket. Very handy when going on a trail ride. The pocket (shown in the picture) is large enough to hold a few supplies, i.e. hoof pick, small first aid kit, etc. The water bottle holder is large enough to fit most standard sized bottles. I ride English but purchased this western style for the pockets. There is also a hand hold at the front. Great tool for working on balance, seat position, and leg position. I have highly recommended this product to several friends.
